Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan delivery journeys to support smooth supply chain operations.
  • •Support safe loading and unloading of your trailer.
  • •Carry out full safety checks on your lorry.
  • •Follow the Highway Code, WTD, EU Drivers Hours Regulations, and the Partnership’s Transport Partners handbook and training pack.
  • •Handle unexpected situations, keep the transport office up to date, report vehicle issues, and complete supplier/Partnership documentation accurately.

Salary: GBP 19.1 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Be 18 years or older.
  • •Hold a valid Manual UK LGV1 C+E driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
  • •Have a valid Driver Qualification Card (up to date training) and a valid Tachograph Card.
  • •Previous experience driving LGV (articulated vehicles).
  • •Maintain knowledge and comply with the Highway Code, WTD, and EU Drivers Hours Regulations, and related transport handbook/training materials.
