Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a trusted business partner to Yield Product teams and other stakeholders for launching and developing the Yield product.
  • •Advise Product stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle on the legal and regulatory aspects of new ideas and enhancements, from ideation through launch and expansion.
  • •Coordinate with local counsel across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, the U.S., the U.K., and the European Union to determine and develop optimal go-to-market paths.
  • •Translate legal and regulatory advice into actionable solutions integrated into product development, including requirements, customer terms, disclosures, and launch-readiness materials.
  • •Collaborate with Regulatory Compliance, Product Marketing, Licensing, Risk, and regulated partners to support product governance, partner arrangements, and ongoing product changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Law degree and 10+ years of post-qualification experience, including some gained at a top-tier law firm.
  • •Regulatory advisory and/or product counseling experience with a law firm, financial institution, or fintech, including at least three years advising on wealth-management products.
  • •Experience acting as a solution-oriented lawyer partnering strategically with non-lawyers to achieve commercial outcomes.
  • •Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills across Product, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Marketing, external counsel, and senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
  • •Ability to manage complex, cross-jurisdictional legal workstreams, prioritize demands, and take ownership of advice from ideation through launch and expansion.
