Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and apply advanced development geology techniques to evaluate and develop challenging oil and gas field development projects.
  • •Ensure robust geological understanding by integrating static and dynamic data to guide reservoir management, field development, and production optimization.
  • •Support prospect evaluation by validating existing interpretations and creating new interpretations such as structure maps, isopach maps, cross sections, and annotated bubble maps.
  • •Lead interpretation of geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and drilling data to build static reservoir models using well log, core, seismic, and production data.
  • •Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify production enhancement opportunities, present findings to stakeholders, and mentor less experienced geoscientists.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in Geoscience and at least 10 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production, including development geology and static modeling.
  • •Field development and reservoir management experience working directly or indirectly on a producing field for an oil and gas operator.
  • •Extensive experience in clastic and/or carbonate reservoirs; exposure to mature or brownfield assets preferred.
  • •Experience integrating static and dynamic data to guide reservoir management, field development, and production optimization.
  • •Ability to lead interpretation of geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and drilling data to develop robust static reservoir models.
