Job Summary

Provide expert development geology support for an oil and gas asset under an Integrated Asset Management contract. You will integrate static and dynamic data to guide reservoir management, field development, and production optimization, including prospect validation and new interpretation work such as structure maps and cross sections. Lead interpretation of geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and drilling data to build static reservoir models, support reserves estimation, collaborate with operations, and mentor geoscientists.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and apply advanced development geology techniques to evaluate and develop challenging oil and gas field development projects.
•Ensure robust geological understanding by integrating static and dynamic data to guide reservoir management, field development, and production optimization.
•Support prospect evaluation by validating existing interpretations and creating new interpretations such as structure maps, isopach maps, cross sections, and annotated bubble maps.
•Lead interpretation of geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and drilling data to build static reservoir models using well log, core, seismic, and production data.
•Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify production enhancement opportunities, present findings to stakeholders, and mentor less experienced geoscientists.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree in Geoscience and at least 10 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production, including development geology and static modeling.
•Field development and reservoir management experience working directly or indirectly on a producing field for an oil and gas operator.
•Extensive experience in clastic and/or carbonate reservoirs; exposure to mature or brownfield assets preferred.
•Experience integrating static and dynamic data to guide reservoir management, field development, and production optimization.
•Ability to lead interpretation of geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and drilling data to develop robust static reservoir models.
