Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce the Group’s IFRS annual and half-year listed financial statements and annual report.
  • •Lead end-to-end year-end and half-year external audit and review processes, including Audit Committee papers.
  • •Oversee production and filing of subsidiary statutory accounts across UK and international entities.
  • •Act as primary technical accounting authority, researching complex areas, implementing new standards, and presenting conclusions to senior stakeholders and auditors.
  • •Own the Group’s cashflow forecasting process and support liquidity/capital analysis to inform CFO and Board decision-making, working closely with treasury.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience in a listed business environment and a consistent record of delivering to deadline.
  • •Extensive IFRS expertise with strong technical grounding, able to research and form defensible positions on complex topics (e.g., multi-currency consolidations, leases, revenue recognition, business combinations).
  • •Experience researching and implementing new accounting or reporting standards.
  • •Proven people management experience leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams across multiple disciplines.
  • •If currently in practice, operating at Director level or above with substantial experience advising listed groups on complex technical matters.
