Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the contractual and claims management process during execution and develop the contract management execution strategy.
  • •Manage claims: drafting timely notices, claims, comments/oppositions, counterclaims, and maintaining a systematic claims register and status reporting.
  • •Lead change management for variations, change orders, and amendments, including variations documentation and tracking.
  • •Monitor contract milestones, program deviations, performance metrics, and maintain an obligations/commitments register.
  • •Support negotiations for claims and disputes with Procurement and supervise financial elements (e.g., bank bonds, performance/warranty securities, insurance certificates) and progress reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in contract & claims management (particularly under FIDIC).
  • •Track record executing complex industrial/infrastructure projects from post-signing through handover.
  • •Experience managing claims and variations.
  • •Must have knowledge of LOPS Rm (Ley de Obras Públicas y Servicios Relacionados con las Mismas) and RLOPS Rm (Reglamento de la Ley de Obras Públicas y Servicios Relacionados con las Mismas).
