Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure safety, serviceability, and airworthiness of aircraft, engines, components, and appliances.
  • •Perform initial, in-process, and final inspections to detect defects, malfunctions, or damage and verify completeness.
  • •List discrepancies and prescribe immediate corrections, adjustments, or repairs during inspection.
  • •Determine defects and unsafe conditions, diagnose causes, and cover inspection compliance for minor repairs and applicable directives.
  • •Review and sign off maintenance documents, approve return to service, maintain delivery documentation, and report incidents/accidents.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an A&P GACA-approved license.
  • •Have aircraft type qualification with inspection program and processes.
  • •Diploma in aviation airframe and powerplant.
  • •At least 5 years of maintenance experience on large aircraft (10+ passenger seats) with an air operator or certificated repair station, including at least 2 years as a maintenance inspector.
  • •Familiarity with GACA regulations and ability to read engineering drawings/specs, engineering change notices, and approved operating procedures.
