Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-quality, commercially focused legal advice to Hyderabad management, covering Indian employment law, commercial contracting, company secretarial matters, and broader governance/disputes.
  • •Act as primary point of contact for day-to-day legal queries under Indian law across business, HR, Finance, and Operations.
  • •Provide hands-on legal support across the employee lifecycle (hiring, disciplinary actions, performance management, investigations, terminations) and interpret and implement HR policies and local labor laws.
  • •Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on routine and recurring commercial agreements (including vendor, consulting, IT, lease, confidentiality, and services agreements).
  • •Perform and oversee company secretarial, governance, and statutory compliance activities, coordinate with Compliance on regulatory registrations, manage litigation matters, and research new Indian laws and SEBI regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in law.
  • •Significant experience advising on Indian employment law, commercial contracts, and company secretarial matters with day-to-day (BAU) responsibility in a corporate or multinational environment.
  • •Demonstrated ability to independently manage routine and recurring legal matters while escalating complex, sensitive, or high-risk issues appropriately.
  • •15+ years of experience in a legal role, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • •Experience in a global organization with a matrix reporting structure.
