Job Summary

Lead a specialized group of engineers building the foundational architecture of a self-service data ecosystem across Platform Architecture, DataOps, MLOps, and Data Quality. Own the technical roadmap for a modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow), enforce engineering excellence (CI/CD, IaC, testing), orchestrate cross-functional delivery with data science and game studios, and drive reliability through incident response, RCAs, and FinOps optimization on AWS and related services.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and execute the technical strategy for the data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow), ensuring scalability and reliable performance for global requirements.
•Establish engineering excellence standards across code quality, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and automated testing.
•Coordinate delivery across Data Engineering, Data Science, and game studio stakeholders to meet internal customer needs.
•Lead and mentor a team of approximately 7 specialists, fostering accountability, professional growth, and technical innovation.
•Oversee end-to-end data lifecycle reliability, lead incident response and root cause analyses (RCAs), and drive cost optimization through FinOps across AWS/Snowflake/Databricks.

Key Requirements

•7+ years in Data Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering, including 2+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
•Deep technical knowledge of the modern data stack, including Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS S3/Data Lakes.
•Experience implementing DataOps or MLOps frameworks at scale, including CI/CD for data and model-drift monitoring.
•Expert proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to perform deep-dive code reviews across engineering domains.
•Advanced experience with Apache Airflow (or similar enterprise-grade orchestration tools).
