Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead all aspects of CEMEA controllership, financial reporting, and governance across the region.
  • •Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of U.S. GAAP reporting, management reporting, and statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • •Own and strengthen the regional control environment, ensuring compliance with Visa accounting policies and SOX requirements; drive continuous enhancement of financial controls.
  • •Lead internal and external audit engagements and anticipate emerging regulatory, accounting, and business risks.
  • •Champion modernization of controllership using automation, digital capabilities, and GenAI; drive process simplification, standardization, and finance transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of progressive finance, accounting, or controllership leadership in multinational public-company environments.
  • •CPA (or equivalent) professional accounting qualification (strongly preferred).
  • •Experience combining Big Four public accounting with senior finance leadership in a complex global organization.
  • •Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, audit, and regulatory compliance.
  • •Strong SOX controls and enterprise risk management knowledge, plus experience leading large-scale finance transformation and automation (including AI/emerging technologies).
