Key Responsibilities

  • •Create parts, assemblies, and layouts for HVAC equipment with engineering using Creo Parametric.
  • •Produce and develop designs and supporting documentation using computer design and product lifecycle management systems.
  • •Apply technical knowledge across assigned engineering areas including tolerances, GD&T, heat transfer, piping, welding, and related design considerations.
  • •Translate verbal and written instructions into HVAC drawings, including 2D/3D engineering drawings and sketches, and create assemblies and sheet metal parts.
  • •Manage project schedules and teams for assigned projects, working with minor independent judgment under senior staff direction.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in lieu of degree or an Associate’s Degree (AA) in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • •Experience designing/drafting using Creo Parametric, including parts, assemblies, and layouts.
  • •Experience with SolidWorks, Creo Parametrics, Creo Schematics, Inventor, or ProEngineer.
  • •Ability to coordinate and lead project planning and scheduling.
  • •Working knowledge of areas such as change control, bill of material, product definition/selection, GD&T, and tolerance analysis for HVAC systems.
