Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a team of Standard Life Advisers to deliver innovative, high-quality retirement and investment advice propositions.
  • •Coach and develop up to 12 Advisers to achieve key performance indicators, commercial goals, stakeholder requirements, and regulatory outcomes.
  • •Recruit, train and maintain adviser competence under the Training and Competence Scheme and support attainment of competent adviser status.
  • •Develop cross-divisional relationships and external networks to support business objectives and referral of eligible customers.
  • •Adhere to regulatory, legislative and business requirements using the Risk and People Management Framework to protect investors and the company’s reputation.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong track record in the advice industry with experience advising clients with at-retirement needs
  • •High level of technical pension knowledge; minimum CII Diploma Level 4
  • •Experience leading and coaching a team (up to 12 advisers) to deliver against KPIs, regulatory, and commercial requirements
  • •Ability to recruit, train, and develop advisers and maintain competence under a Training and Competence Scheme
  • •Ability to build cross-divisional relationships and manage risks under a Risk and People Management Framework
