Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment used in pit and mining operations (e.g., dozer, track hoe, front end loader, haul truck).
  • •Maintain a safe work environment by following company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures.
  • •Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections with appropriate documentation and report problems to a manager.
  • •Complete minor servicing and maintenance; refer major equipment problems to the foreman.
  • •Follow directions of the foreman for daily tasks, assist in training less-experienced employees, and perform general labor duties when necessary.

Key Requirements
