Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with design engineering and manufacturing to create quality plans for flight hardware, including key characteristic identification, testing for functionality/manufacturability, and first-article and detailed inspection planning.
  • •Develop, implement, and validate Lean test and inspection processes to ensure objective criteria and consistent quality goal achievement.
  • •Monitor product and process success during production ramp-up using quality and analysis tools.
  • •Conduct build quality reviews to ensure design intent is achieved; identify risk-reduction opportunities and drive improvements to address high-impact, recurring non-conformances.
  • •Investigate production, test, and flight failures to determine and mitigate immediate and underlying root causes, and support containment, quarantining, and rework/repair activities.
