Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee daily sanitation activities to ensure sanitation employees follow cleaning procedures for production lines and the facility.
  • •Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain a food-safe and sanitary environment and meet USDA requirements.
  • •Enforce safety and food safety regulations including OSHA, FSIS, USDA, and HACCP.
  • •Mentor, coach, and train/cross-train sanitation employees; provide consistent feedback and manage performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
  • •Assist with housekeeping, SQF, and regulatory audits; identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • •Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment (poultry experience preferred).
  • •Three (3) years of demonstrated leadership experience, including timekeeping, policy adherence, and conflict resolution.
  • •Working knowledge of poultry processing and food safety regulations (OSHA, GMP, HACCP).
  • •Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their interactions and potential hazards. Good verbal and written communication skills; multi-lingual strongly preferred.
