Job Summary

Join Boeing’s Flight Systems Engineering Capability in Berkeley, MO as an Associate GNC Engineer supporting design, development, integration and flight testing for the T-7A Red Hawk. Key Responsibilities

•Gather, define and document Guidance, Navigation and Control mission requirements and ensure traceability and quality from system to component level
•Develop and refine a nonlinear 6-DoF simulation model using multidisciplinary model data (aero, mass properties, propulsion)
•Support design of flight control laws and tools to achieve design and performance targets
•Use advanced analysis to assess and refine the control law design
•Perform model validation against test data to improve the simulation environment
•Develop supplementary controllers, limiters and mode logic to bound performance within the flight envelope
•Collaborate with flight simulation and Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) software engineers to integrate control laws into the operational flight program
•Support flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and flight testing
•Participate in design reviews, analyses, simulations and component/system testing to ensure delivery meets requirements
•Author and maintain engineering documentation for consistency and delivery

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 93,500 - 126,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
•2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
•Experience with system and component modeling
•Experience with implementing algorithms in a real time system
•Experience programming in C/C#
