Job Summary

Lead a senior project management role directing Site Investigation & Remediation projects across TX and LA, overseeing fieldwork, client development, and regulatory compliance. You’ll mentor junior staff, manage schedules and budgets, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and travel regionally to sites in Texas and occasional western states.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and develop new clients for WSP’s environmental business through internal and external networking.
•Manage environmental projects involving site characterization, remedial design, and environmental compliance, ensuring deliverables, schedules, and budgets are achieved.
•Perform field work for site characterization and remediation projects, including oversight of subcontractors and sampling of soil, soil vapor, sediment, surface water, and groundwater in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted protocols.
•Conduct data analysis and reporting for environmental project tasks with minimal supervision; recommend remedial solutions using accepted scientific and engineering practices.
•Provide technical review to ensure compliance with environmental laws, company standards, contract requirements, and specifications.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
•Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Engineer (Texas registration preferred)
•10+ years of progressively responsible experience
•Strong background providing environmental consulting services to industrial/commercial, mining, energy, and government clients
•Proven experience with environmental site investigations, remediation, field management, and sampling programs; familiarity with TRRP and federal/state/local regulations
