Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct general mechanical inspections and repairs, including brake jobs, exhaust system jobs, front end alignments, ball joints, air conditioning, and transmission referrals for additional work.
  • •Perform general maintenance such as oil and fluid changes, tire changes, vehicle check overs, and related duties while following safety procedures.
  • •Complete frame inspections of vehicle undercarriages to check for cracks, bends, or other damage.
  • •Carry out pre- and post-sale inspections including test drives, and complete motor vehicle safety inspections with required safety checklist steps.
  • •Provide guidance and assistance to apprentice technicians; may also help source parts, provide quotes, and complete work orders with parts and labor entries.

  • •Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification.
  • •Experience repairing and servicing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on a variety of vehicles.
