Key Responsibilities

  • •Structure, negotiate, and close enterprise sales and partnership agreements, including vendor and services agreements, data licenses, and marketing arrangements.
  • •Partner with sales and business development teams to help them move faster while ensuring agreements hold up.
  • •Design and implement scalable legal processes by standardizing deal terms, building templates, and streamlining paths to signed agreements.
  • •Provide practical guidance on privacy, intellectual property, data security, and AI-specific legal issues as they arise.
  • •Navigate cross-border commercial and regulatory issues across UK/EU and APAC, structuring appropriate data transfer mechanisms.

Key Requirements

  • •JD, LLM, or equivalent law qualification from an accredited institution, plus 5–12 years of legal practice (in-house, at a firm, or both).
  • •Demonstrated strength in commercial transactions internationally, particularly across UK/EU and APAC enterprise deals, partnerships, and strategic relationships.
  • •Fluency in IP, privacy, data security, and data licensing, with depth in at least some areas and willingness to learn the rest.
  • •Practical experience with data protection regimes and structuring cross-border transfer mechanisms.
  • •Exceptional writing and the ability to give clear, actionable guidance in complex grey areas.
