Job Summary

Plans, directs, and implements organizational safety programs to maintain a safe, healthy, accident-free work environment during major data center construction. Manage day-to-day safety operations by applying PMO standards, running safety and orientation training, conducting facility hazard inspections, maintaining safety documentation (audits, PTPs, JHAs, SDSs), and supporting accident/injury investigations and related legal/insurance materials.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, direct, and implement organizational safety programs to maintain a safe, healthy, accident-free work environment.
•Apply OSHA-related safety requirements and the company’s IIPP to develop and execute safety policies and procedures.
•Develop, implement, and deliver safety and orientation training programs.
•Inspect facilities for hazards, recommend corrective actions, and verify implementation.
•Maintain safety documentation (audits, inspections, PTPs, JHAs, SDSs) and participate in accident/injury investigations, supporting preparation of materials for hearings, lawsuits, and insurance cases.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in the construction industry in a similar role, with highly preferred experience in large structured cabling and/or data center construction.
•Experience developing and implementing safety programs, conducting hazard mitigation activities, and supporting large-scale construction projects (data center experience preferred).
•Ability to plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations and the company’s IIPP.
•Experience delivering safety and orientation training programs.
•Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or a related field, or a BCSP certification such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or OHST.
