Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into clean, well-tested, high-performance browser-extension features across UI and in-browser security/detection modules.
  • •Implement security-sensitive logic that runs on every page load with minimal overhead, focusing on latency and memory consumption.
  • •Write maintainable, modular code and actively participate in elevating team code reviews.
  • •Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests and debug issues across extension contexts using browser developer tools.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional software development experience building production frontend applications in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
  • •Hands-on browser-extension development for Chrome, Firefox, and/or Safari, including extension APIs, manifest versions (MV2/MV3), permission models, and separation of content scripts/background/service workers/extension pages.
  • •Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript fundamentals, including types, async/await, closures, and modules.
  • •Experience with a modern frontend framework or reactive UI library (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte), with the ability to quickly learn new frameworks.
  • •Proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive, component-based UIs.
