Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee specification selection, installation planning, and commissioning for new manufacturing equipment including lithography, etching, deposition, ion implantation, epitaxial, thermal diffusion, cleaning, test probe, metrology, AMR, and Cobot.
  • •Develop preventive maintenance plans and investigate root causes of unexpected failures, implementing corrective/preventive actions including change proposals.
  • •Drive hardware and software modifications with equipment manufacturers to improve throughput, reduce defect rates, and support cost reduction initiatives.
  • •Build monitoring and analysis frameworks using AI and data analytics for in-equipment data and external sensors to promote smart-factory transformation.
  • •Provide feedback to process and quality assurance teams based on equipment and production performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or higher in science or engineering.
  • •Practical work experience in a mechanical/engineering role at a manufacturing company.
  • •Japanese communication skills to work with stakeholders.
  • •3+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance, installation, or process/production engineering for semiconductor manufacturing equipment or automation systems.
  • •Business-level English proficiency for specification discussions with overseas equipment manufacturers and engineers.
