Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage all engineering aspects of the project to meet technical objectives within approved scope, budget, and schedule.
  • •Provide leadership to the Engineering Department and the FEED Engineering Contractor, ensuring adequate technical expertise for deliverable reviews.
  • •Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, HSE guidelines, and best practices, while pursuing economical design optimization.
  • •Oversee engineering consultant activities for quality/accuracy and ensure defined engineering requirements for Brownfield scope.
  • •Sponsor and oversee layout/design and HAZID/PHA reviews/workshops and manage technical bid analysis, vendor prequalification, and performance evaluation inputs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (or equivalent) and a Master’s degree in management (or equivalent).
  • •20+ years’ oil & gas experience across major Oil & Gas capital projects and facilities design, including 10+ years as an Engineering Manager.
  • •Delivered at least one project involving onshore pipelines in the GCC.
  • •Experience recruiting and developing technical staff, including mentoring junior engineers.
  • •Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards, and engineering computer programs/general business software.
