Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow MRP signals to create work orders timely to satisfy customer demand, safety stock, and production-line flow aligned with the Master Production Schedule.
  • •Create and deliver production plans and sequences to achieve on-time delivery, sales, and productivity.
  • •Communicate and coordinate with product line supervisors/leaders and purchasing teams to ensure schedule attainment and recovery when required.
  • •Monitor and report material shortages in the purchasing area.
  • •Communicate frequently with customer service to meet expectations and maintain up-to-date backlog status; follow up on work order status and adjust the production plan as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Administration.
  • •3+ years of experience in production planning in an automotive manufacturing environment or similar.
  • •3+ years of experience in MRP planning.
  • •Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel.
  • •APICS certification (preferable), plus strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
