Provide local customer service and technical support for the A330 MRTT fleet at Airbus Defence & Space in Istres. Advise the French Air Force and support activities spanning MRTT technical office and local CAMO, including AOG and incident inquiries. Monitor maintenance progress, assess impacts of frequent spare parts/GSE requests, investigate system/structure issues, and coordinate with Airbus teams, FAF, and Rolls-Royce for reliability data and files/usage transfer.

Key Responsibilities

•Respond to operator queries during AOG and incident inquiries and provide guidance to resolve troubleshooting.
•Provide filtering in both directions to avoid misinterpretations during communication and deliver qualitative technical answers.
•Stay current on maintenance progress and continually assess aircraft fleet operational activity to report relevant support issues.
•Provide technical assessment for frequent spare parts/GSE requests impacting aircraft availability and investigate significant system/structure in-service technical issues.
•Coordinate with Airbus Support Centre teams, liaise with FAF for reliability data, and transfer required files/usage data to Rolls-Royce for health and usage monitoring of Trent engines.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Have an aeronautical engineering degree or EASA PART 66 qualification for Airbus A330 rated with RR Trent 700.
•At least 10 years of experience in Part 145 or Part M in an airline and/or MRO organization.
•Knowledge of AMASIS (or equivalent software) is mandatory.
•Familiar with Airnav usage.
•Negotiation-level French is mandatory; negotiation-level English is required.
