Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain the security posture of an information system and support day-to-day security operations.
  • •Collaborate with the ISSM and ISO on monitoring systems and their operational environments, including authorization documentation updates.
  • •Prepare, review, and update authorization packages; ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media are in place.
  • •Conduct periodic system security reviews for compliance and collect/review/document audit records and anomalies.
  • •Perform security impact analysis and provide input to the ISSM for configuration management changes to authorization boundaries; identify vulnerabilities and support countermeasures.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of related experience in information systems security/security roles.
  • •SAP experience required, supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs) and SCI activities.
  • •Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator, or ISSO.
  • •Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years).
  • •IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security) within 6 months of hire; TS/SCI required and ability to attain TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
