Perform routine substation design engineering work by following established engineering processes, procedures, and criteria. Work under guidance from experienced professionals to recommend and implement solutions involving design, operation, and maintenance of company assets. Collaborate with senior engineers on assigned problems, using models and data analysis to improve processes and programs, and provide field engineering or technical support as needed.

•Perform routine engineering assignments by following defined processes, procedures, and instructions.
•Seek guidance from experienced professionals to recommend and implement timely engineering solutions for design, operation, and maintenance of company assets.
•Collaborate with more experienced engineers to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems within time and budget constraints.
•Develop models and analyze data to recommend solutions and/or improvements in processes and programs.
•Provide field engineering assistance or technical support and stay current on technology and market changes as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (degree verification required if obtained within nine months).
•Preferred: some professional experience through internships.
•Preferred: electrical engineering degree.
•Preferred: AutoCAD proficiency.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, primarily Excel and Word.
