Key Responsibilities

•Lead a high-performing team of engineers, providing technical guidance, career coaching, and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
•Own the architecture of ETLs and data layers, making systems run faster and handle massive data volumes with precision.
•Mentor senior engineers, drive code quality, performance-critical flows, and architectural standards.
•Partner with Product Managers to translate complex fraud-prevention requirements into robust, production-grade solutions.
•Oversee optimization across the stack, from PostgreSQL queries to Kubernetes deployments, to improve scalability and efficiency.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of backend experience with documented leadership or mentoring experience
•Deep Python expertise with FastAPI and building scalable APIs
•Strong experience building and optimizing data pipelines, ETLs, and large-scale data systems
•AI-first mindset: ability to leverage AI tools (LLMs, agents) to accelerate development and tooling
•Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with leaders across teams
