Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a high-performing team of engineers, providing technical guidance, career coaching, and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
  • •Own the architecture of ETLs and data layers, making systems run faster and handle massive data volumes with precision.
  • •Mentor senior engineers, drive code quality, performance-critical flows, and architectural standards.
  • •Partner with Product Managers to translate complex fraud-prevention requirements into robust, production-grade solutions.
  • •Oversee optimization across the stack, from PostgreSQL queries to Kubernetes deployments, to improve scalability and efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of backend experience with documented leadership or mentoring experience
  • •Deep Python expertise with FastAPI and building scalable APIs
  • •Strong experience building and optimizing data pipelines, ETLs, and large-scale data systems
  • •AI-first mindset: ability to leverage AI tools (LLMs, agents) to accelerate development and tooling
  • •Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with leaders across teams
