Key Responsibilities

  • •Actively identify and develop new greenfield and brownfield solar power plant opportunities.
  • •Lead greenfield site identification; perform due diligence across feasibility, interconnection, environmental and risk assessment, and secure sites via land option agreements.
  • •Manage project development end-to-end, planning timelines and milestones, and tracking deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • •Define project scope, budget, execution strategies, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with management and stakeholders; manage scope changes and contingency planning.
  • •Support commercial transaction negotiations and project financing (if required), and build relationships with stakeholders including government, community, and environmental bodies.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 years of solar or wind project development experience, including 3 years with an international major/reputable development/EPC company.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Experience identifying and acquiring greenfield and brownfield sites.
  • •Experience fostering landowner relationships, negotiating landowner agreements, and understanding planning and grid connection processes.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or above (preferred: electrical engineering, civil engineering, business administration, finance/investment) or equivalent project development experience.
