Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct management of employees performing engineering and technical activities related to fluid systems operations and launch and recovery engineering functions.
  • •Define, staff, develop, and sustain the ESG Test and STE capability, including operational staffing requirements, systems procedures, training, and certifications.
  • •Lead development and maintenance of common processes, tools, and standards, implementing Boeing best practices across the company.
  • •Provide oversight of technical design reviews and trade studies to ensure performance, safety, producibility, ergonomic, maintainability, and reliability requirements are met.
  • •Drive continuous improvement through Lean+ projects and process improvements, and support program planning/executability as Control Account Manager (CAM) and within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (or non-US equivalent directly related to the work).
  • •Active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
  • •At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) or completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • •10+ years of experience in an engineering role.
  • •3+ years of aerospace engineering experience.
