Job Summary

Provide credit and financial analysis support for commercial lending and credit administration. Participate in new credit requests, loan reviews, credit discussions, and ongoing portfolio monitoring by analyzing financial statements and tax returns, researching internal debt/deposit relationships, and preparing cash flow and collateral assessments. Generate financial ratios and trend reports, recommend and substantiate risk ratings and loan structures, and ensure compliance with loan policy, documentation, and confidentiality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop credit and financial analysis support for commercial lending and credit administration, including determining required documents, reviewing financial statements and tax returns, and researching internal debt/deposit relationships.
•Create financial reports such as common-sized statements, ratios, and trend reports; prepare in-depth cash flow analysis for companies and individuals.
•Analyze collateral value using tools like receivables aging and real estate appraisals, and identify strengths and weaknesses of credit.
•Recommend and substantiate appropriate risk ratings and prepare/present summaries that support loan structure decisions and borrower creditworthiness.
•Review collateral and supporting documents, follow commercial loan policy and documentation requirements, and monitor credit migrations and policy exceptions while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•Minimum 2 years of banking or related field experience.
•Excellent verbal and written communication.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and Abrigo software.
•Ability to analyze business financial conditions and assess factors affecting a borrower’s ability to service debt obligations.
