Key Responsibilities

  • •Engineer, install, operate, and maintain EIO&M components of USARCENT Mission Command Systems and Services, including associated applications and hardware.
  • •Assist the government with current and future USARCENT mission command capabilities such as DDS, CPOF, CPCE, and GCCS-A, focusing on interoperability across platforms.
  • •Provide subject matter expertise on MCSS fielded to USARCENT, including PASS, DDS, Windows operating systems/servers, and fielded MCSS servers.
  • •Support interoperability and integration for tactical communication stacks and Common Operational Picture across warfighting applications using CPOF/CPCE and related systems.
  • •Conduct monthly ACAS and Nessus scans, quarterly IAVA updates, help establish tactical enterprise services in GCCS-A, and provide backup duties for GCCS-A/J administration.

Key Requirements

  • •Maintain an active Secret security clearance.
  • •Have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least three (3) years of experience with Mission Command Systems (MCS) and/or Army Battle Command Services (ABCS).
  • •Hold an active DoD 8570.01-M IAT II compliant certification at hire (e.g., CCNA-Security, Security+ CE, SSCP, CySA+, etc.; IAT III permissible).
  • •Have a customer-accepted Computing Environment (CE) certification, or obtain one within 6 months of hire (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, etc.).
  • •Demonstrate experience with VMWare, including building and maintaining new virtual machines.
