Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Load/unload goods and materials using specialized equipment as needed; return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain delivery paperwork (invoices and bills of lading) and perform routine truck service such as checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight.
  • •Pass background and drug testing required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Pass DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and complete safety-sensitive delivery duties.
