Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and deliver two rounds of implementation evaluation across five NHS Trusts.
  • •Lead qualitative data collection and analysis (interviews, focus groups, ethnographic observations) to assess barriers, facilitators, acceptability, and satisfaction.
  • •Apply CFIR and ERIC to guide study design, interpretation, and iterative refinement of an implementation toolkit.
  • •Collaborate with WP3 to assess data quality and engagement with EPICare digital components (clinician dashboard and patient-facing app).
  • •Contribute to dissemination and research administration, including writing for publication and supporting bids and student guidance where appropriate.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD (or near completion) in implementation science, health services research, medical sociology, public health, psychology, or a related discipline.
  • •Experience applying implementation research frameworks (e.g., CFIR and ERIC) to clinical/health service innovation.
  • •Demonstrable experience designing and conducting qualitative research (interviews, focus groups, ethnographic observation).
  • •Excellent qualitative data analysis skills, including use of NVivo or similar software.
  • •Experience working in multi-site and multi-disciplinary research collaborations; experience in NHS or clinical settings is desirable.
