Key Responsibilities

  • •Support leadership or manage the production of accurate, comprehensive estimates for projects/programmes.
  • •Produce estimate/cost models from order of magnitude through to detailed estimates.
  • •Provide estimating assurance and develop major programmes estimating strategy.
  • •Support bids for new work and act as a role model for less experienced staff.
  • •Stay abreast of developments in your technical expertise and help develop Defence Estimating best practice across the business.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualification in Estimating, Quantity Surveying or Cost Engineering.
  • •Experience working in the Defence sector.
  • •Proven experience compiling, assuring, and delivering complex estimates and cost models.
  • •Experience working within an integrated Project Controls team.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills in a client-facing environment.
