Job Summary

Lead demolition oversight professional responsible for technical leadership in decommissioning, regulated material abatement, and demolition projects at multiple sites. Oversees plan interpretation, site inspections, documentation, safety/compliance adherence, and mentorship of junior staff while coordinating with contractors and clients to meet health, safety, environmental, and budget objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Examine and interpret written and graphic construction plans, specifications, schedules, and other project documentation.
•Monitor progress and completion of contractor work, including site inspections for adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
•Perform material sampling when needed.
•Provide leadership and direction to junior-level field staff in the execution of monitoring/oversight requirements.
•Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and field/work site notebook.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma
•11+ years of demolition oversight experience including regulated materials abatement and demolition methods
•Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications, permit requirements, test data, schedules and budgets
•Familiar with relevant environmental and construction laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements
•Competent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
