Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the design and technical direction of significant parts of the platform while remaining hands-on.
  • •Lead end-to-end subsystem ownership (design, implementation, test strategy, and production behavior) and solve difficult, data-heavy problems.
  • •Set engineering standards across your area and lead code reviews to raise the team’s quality.
  • •Partner with architecture and product management on direction before decisions are locked.
  • •Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and debug across tiers under pressure to identify and address root causes.

Key Requirements

  • •Roughly 8–12 years of hands-on software engineering, with recent time at senior or staff scope where others depended on what you owned.
  • •Deep expertise on one platform: JavaScript and TypeScript with Node.js, Express, and Angular; or .NET with C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
  • •Experience designing REST APIs or microservices (not just consuming them).
  • •Strong SQL and data modeling ability, with testing discipline across unit, integration, and functional levels.
  • •Proven production subsystem/service ownership, including the consequences of your design decisions, plus code review leadership and mentoring.
