Key Responsibilities

  • •Feed and water birds according to schedule.
  • •Walk floors daily to examine birds for signs of illness or injury; treat per instructions; pick up and dispose of mortality.
  • •Place pen partitions and segregate birds by line and age of source.
  • •Clean and disinfect waterers and pens; perform housekeeping; repair pen and equipment (feeders, waterers, lights, fans, etc.).
  • •Record information per instructions (line, MG, bird weights, feed & water intake, mortality) and support quality/sanitation duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months (18 months if laid off or providing child/elder care).
  • •Previous work history does not apply to applicants who were full-time students consecutively for the last 36 months.
  • •Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days.
  • •Rehire rule: no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.
