Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide prevention, assessment, and treatment of athletic-related injuries for student-athletes
  • •Develop therapeutic exercise protocols and administer modalities to support wound and injury healing
  • •Render first aid and follow emergency plans during acute injuries at athletic venues and events
  • •Maintain complete medical records for student-athletes in accordance with HIPAA regulations and update injury systems
  • •Support team coverage, pre-participation physicals, baseline concussion testing, diet guidelines, and insurance/billing documentation

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • •Certified Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC) of Athletic Trainers
  • •Current Arizona Licensure required
  • •CPR, AED, First Aid Certified
  • •Relevant experience treating high school, club, or intercollegiate participants preferred
