Job Summary

Technical, enterprise-focused Customer Success Engineer blending API expertise with relationship management to drive adoption, expansion, and revenue growth for Deepgram’s AI-driven speech APIs across enterprise customers. You’ll demo, design architectures, run workshops, and partner with Sales to identify cross-sell opportunities while guiding customers from onboarding through expansion.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a technical expert and strategic advisor to enterprise customers, aligning business goals with technical solutions for Deepgram’s APIs.
•Build and maintain relationships across developers, program managers, CIOs/CTOs, and other executives to enable adoption and expansion.
•Conduct on-site visits (travel may be required) to drive adoption and embed Deepgram into customer workflows.
•Own the full customer lifecycle from onboarding and technical enablement to expansion and advocacy.
•Identify expansion opportunities (cross-sell, upsell, multi-product adoption) in partnership with Sales.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•7–10+ years in Technical Account Management, Sales Engineering, and/or Enterprise Customer Success (with strong technical focus) at API-driven technology companies
•Hands-on experience with running product demos, POCs, or technical workshops with enterprise customers
•Strong technical aptitude: able to discuss APIs, developer workflows, and troubleshoot basic L1-style support questions (no coding required)
•Experience engaging across technical teams (developers, architects, support) and executive buyers (CIO, CTO, VP Engineering)
•Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with ability to influence executives, technical teams, and sales
