Job Summary

Lead and oversee the FERC compliance program for interstate natural gas and products pipelines, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and industry regulations across all business units. Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve compliance policies, procedures, controls, and documentation systems. Manage compliance audits, reviews, risk assessments, regulatory reporting, and training initiatives, supervising a Compliance Analyst while partnering with Legal, HR, Operations, Information Governance, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and oversee the company’s FERC Compliance Program for interstate natural gas and products pipelines, including policy development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement
•Manage compliance with other applicable legal and regulatory requirements across business units, including Anti-Corruption and Trade Control laws
•Supervise a Compliance Analyst and coordinate with personnel across departments to manage compliance processes and documentation
•Oversee compliance program administration and maintenance, including developing, maintaining, and enforcing internal policies and controls
•Manage internal audits, compliance reviews, risk assessments, regulatory reporting, training initiatives, and support executive leadership with compliance-related reporting and investigations

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Compliance, Environmental Science, Finance, or a related field
•7+ years of compliance, legal, regulatory, audit, or risk management experience, preferably in oil and gas or energy
•Strong working knowledge of FERC regulations and other applicable energy industry compliance requirements
•Experience managing compliance programs, audits, investigations, and policy governance
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and compliance management systems
