Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve enterprise-wide HSW strategies, frameworks, and governance models aligned with business goals.
  • •Establish HSW performance indicators, reporting structures, and management review processes; provide expert H&S advice to clients and project teams.
  • •Lead delivery of complex HSW programs across portfolios and geographic regions, including program governance, resource planning, and performance reporting.
  • •Conduct site inspections, safety audits, risk compliance reviews, and investigations into incidents and near misses; drive root-cause and corrective actions.
  • •Strengthen safety culture and wellbeing through leadership engagement, training programs/workshops, and leadership development focused on accountability and proactive risk management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Construction Management, or related field.
  • •10+ years of progressively responsible experience in HSW leadership, operational risk management, consulting, or enterprise program management.
  • •Experience leading enterprise-wide HSW programs across large, complex organizations within project management and construction.
  • •Strong knowledge of US and Canadian regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA, provincial/territorial OHS) and H&S management system standards (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001).
  • •Relevant safety credentials (e.g., OSHA 30, OSHA 500, OSHA-related supervisor training, CSTS, CRSP/CHST/NCSO or equivalent) and executive communication skills.
