Job Summary

Provide accurate, timely customer service while processing daily retail banking transactions. Serve as a first point of contact for clients, helping with select service needs and referring or recommending bank products as appropriate. Manage cash drawer control, process deposits/withdrawals/transfers and other transactions, assist with ATM balancing, and support deposit verification and vault responsibilities. Maintain strong client experience and comply with bank regulations, internal controls, and the First Horizon code of ethics.

Key Responsibilities

•Handle a cash drawer and ensure proper control of cash while following audit and security policies and procedures.
•Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and miscellaneous transactions.
•Assist with daily balancing and processing of ATM(s), including entries processing.
•Assist with verification of deposits in the night and lobby depository, and support dual control vault responsibilities.
•Deliver excellent client experiences, resolve client issues, identify cross-selling opportunities, refer clients, and promote bank products/services in compliance with regulations and internal controls.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required; 6 months of cash handling or teller experience strongly preferred (or equivalent).
•Ability to handle a cash drawer with proper cash control and follow audit and security policies and procedures.
•Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payment transactions, plus miscellaneous transactions such as money orders and coupons.
•Assist with daily balancing and processing of ATM(s) and verification of deposits in the night and lobby depository.
•Complete the DeGarmo Retail Behavioral Assessment to be considered for this position.
