Job Summary

Coordinate and expedite material flow from suppliers through delivery, ensuring complete documentation, on-time logistics, and cost-effective performance. Create delivery schedules, implement contingency plans for delays, and prepare document packs for cross-border shipping. Manage key documentation (e.g., purchase orders and shipping paperwork) and create inbound deliveries in SAP. Liaise with internal teams and finance, monitor delivery performance, and support vendor performance evaluation and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, and provide buyers with delay feedback for corrective actions.
•Prepare logistics schedules and coordinate with suppliers/logistics providers to arrange timely, accurate delivery according to plan.
•Implement contingency plans when delays occur to prevent disruption to operation/maintenance schedules.
•Arrange and submit required shipping and customs documentation to local authorities, ensuring timely clearance and regulatory compliance.
•Create inbound deliveries in SAP and coordinate with internal teams and finance to monitor on-time, safe delivery and payment modalities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Logistics and Distribution (or equivalent).
•8-10 years’ experience in the same field.
•Fundamental understanding of the SAP system.
•Good knowledge of local and international transportation and the documentation process.
•Excellent knowledge of customs clearing process and procedures in GCC countries, plus understanding of law/regulations and contracts.
