Key Responsibilities

•Clean, store, reassemble, test, and maintain feed conversion processing machinery; operate equipment and make required adjustments.
•Weigh, place, and remove birds from RTFCR; inspect and prepare FCR units each morning for accurate data collection.
•Observe birds for illness signs, treat according to instructions, dispose of mortality, and euthanize selected birds per policy.
•Monitor and adjust ventilation and light; clean and disinfect waterers and pens; perform routine housekeeping and follow biosecurity procedures.
•Record line/MG/bird weight/medication/feed and water intake/mortality; troubleshoot and complete repairs as possible and perform related equipment and pen repairs.

Key Requirements

•Must have at least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
•If laid off or providing child/elder care, employment gap requirement increases to 18 months.
•Previous work history does not apply to applicants who were full-time students consecutively for the last 36 months.
•Willingness to work in a biosecure environment, including showering/changing clothing and complying with animal welfare guidelines.
•Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days and no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.
