Job Summary

Support lab and production services by preparing buffers, reagents, and solutions and performing routine lab support tasks such as pH/conductivity testing, filtrations, dilutions, and media preparation. Calibrate, clean, and troubleshoot lab instrumentation, execute Clean-in-Place (CIP) and endotoxin testing, and maintain readiness of AKTA chromatography systems. Maintain inventory, records, and documentation in line with GLP/GDP/SOPs while providing responsive operational support to scientists and researchers.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare buffers, media, reagents, solvents, and chemical solutions according to approved procedures and customer requirements.
•Perform routine laboratory support tasks including weighing materials, pH adjustments, conductivity testing, filtrations, dilutions, and solution preparation.
•Calibrate, verify, clean, and perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting for laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
•Execute Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures, sanitization protocols, preventative maintenance, endotoxin testing, and performance verification for ÄKTA chromatography systems and associated purification equipment.
•Maintain lab inventories and accurate records/logbooks/documentation in line with GLP, GDP, SOPs, and customer requirements; provide operational support and respond to service requests.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotech, or related field preferred.
•1+ year of laboratory, manufacturing, research, or laboratory support experience (or equivalent education/experience).
•Microsoft Office experience.
•Experience with purification and chromatography systems, especially ÄKTA, is highly preferred.
•Knowledge of chromatography techniques and ability to operate/troubleshoot ÄKTA systems (UNICORN software).
