Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain backend data pipelines that transform engineering data sources into structured, queryable representations.
  • •Create and evolve data schemas and queries to support new engineering data types and production-scale use cases.
  • •Build and extend AI/LLM components that enable engineers to query and interact with engineering data via natural language.
  • •Diagnose and fix reliability and performance issues in distributed batch-processing pipelines handling large volumes of data.
  • •Tune LLM-based components for accuracy, cost, and latency and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data/workflow needs into platform capabilities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 300,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Build production-quality backend systems for large-scale data and AI/LLM solutions.
  • •Design and evolve data models, schemas, and queries for engineering data types at production scale.
  • •Develop AI/LLM components (e.g., retrieval systems, knowledge graphs, agentic workflows) for natural-language engineering data access.
  • •Strong Python engineering background with a rigorous testing discipline (unit/integration/end-to-end) in a shared codebase.
  • •Experience with graph databases/vector search and LLM agent systems, including tuning for accuracy/cost/latency tradeoffs.
