Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain relationships with functional departments, peers and managers at head office.
  • •Ensure business compliance with internal policies, local legislation and global accounting standards.
  • •Manage month-end process and reporting requirements, including analysis, reports and reconciliations.
  • •Prepare income tax and transfer pricing data, GST/BAS and FBT returns, and support external and internal audits.
  • •Complete forecasting and pacing of revenue and marketing spend; collaborate with marketing to manage and reconcile film budgets, and maintain fixed asset registers.

Key Requirements

  • •CA/CPA qualified.
  • •Strong and proven experience as a Finance Manager within a medium/large business.
  • •Strong financial reporting experience (balance sheet, profit and loss) and ability to support the business with accounting and financial information.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of Statutory/US GAAP reporting requirements/standards, plus working knowledge of Australian/NZ income tax, GST and FBT.
  • •Proven ability to manage month-end processes from start to finish; strong written and oral communication skills.
