Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform routine sanitation checks and in-process inspections to ensure products meet required specifications.
  • •Monitor HACCP plans by tracking critical control points, verifying records, and ensuring protocols are followed.
  • •Assist with regulatory and sanitation oversight, including pre-operational sanitation checks and resampling follow-ups.
  • •Evaluate product quality, identify out-of-spec issues, and support corrective actions such as product pulling and production notification.
  • •Provide guidance and training support for newer team members and assist with coverage or supervisor delegation as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in meat science, food science, microbiology, or a related field (or equivalent education and experience), required.
  • •Solid knowledge of QA principles and food safety, including USDA and HACCP (SSOP), with HACCP and SQF certifications preferred.
  • •Strong technical expertise in quality and regulatory programs.
  • •Ability to read, write, and complete required documentation in English.
  • •Ability to interpret instructions and technical documents, reports, and SOPs.
