Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design of reference architectures for integrated building systems in data center facilities, including BMS, energy management, security, fire & life safety, and other low-voltage/connected technologies.
  • •Translate customer requirements into scalable, clearly documented solution designs with defined integration paths and review drawings/specifications for major projects.
  • •Run technical discovery sessions to identify customer challenges and existing environments, engaging owners, operators, consultants, and partners to understand workflows and regional requirements.
  • •Provide technical leadership in pre-sales engagements by designing customized solutions, delivering product demonstrations, and validating feasibility/handling technical objections.
  • •Maintain knowledge of data center design principles (uptime, redundancy, resilience, operational continuity) and support product lifecycle management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field preferred.
  • •5+ years in data center application engineering, solution proposal, or solution consulting OR 5+ years in data center facility management leadership plus 3+ years designing data center building systems.
  • •Strong expertise in data center building systems, controls, and integration technologies, including smart building ecosystems.
  • •Proven ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions and analyze specifications to propose cost-effective alternatives.
  • •Business acumen with strong storytelling and presentation skills; ability to influence product strategy or standardization efforts and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
