Job Summary

Lead PM/CM delivery of transportation infrastructure projects for government agencies in the New York Metro area. Oversee field construction inspectors, plan and coordinate construction management activities, manage project schedules and budgets, and ensure quality, safety, and code compliance. Supervise inspection teams (nights/weekends), resolve constructability issues and change orders, coordinate with stakeholders, run status meetings, manage risks, and mentor junior team members while supporting proposal work.

•Oversee field construction inspectors, including daily work schedules, site safety monitoring, technical oversight, quality control, and client satisfaction.
•Plan, coordinate, and inspect construction management activities, ensuring efficient utilization of direct reporting staff.
•Supervise field inspection teams working nights and weekends and interface with contractors to meet aggressive project schedules.
•Develop and maintain project schedules and manage project budgets, including estimation, tracking, and reporting to senior management and clients.
•Resolve constructability issues and evaluate/validate contractor change order requests against contract documents; negotiate costs and assess schedule impacts while coordinating stakeholders and conducting status meetings.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree plus 6 years of related experience (or equivalent).
•US Citizenship is required for this position.
•Transit and Transportation experience, specifically Transit and Rail construction in the New York Metro market.
•6+ years of experience in resident engineering, construction management, project management, or related fields (preferred).
•Software proficiency in Procore, SharePoint, and MS Project; certifications such as PE, CCM, NICET, PMP, or DBIA are listed as preferred.
•Excellent interpersonal skills with staff supervision, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities (preferred).
